Re: "Strategic Soul" - Opinions Please

    1) I think it's a pretty nice name, depending on who your customers will be. Some people will probably think it sounds a bit mechanical. They have warm fluffy souls. But my guess is the concept of a strategic soul will appeal to a lot of other people. And if it reflects your approach, and it feels right to you, then go with it.

    2) Try Grant.

I think the name is a nice balance between businesslike and spiritual.

If you try to please everyone you end up pleasing no one so go with what works best for you and you will get the clients that have your approach.

"I think the name is a nice balance between businesslike and spiritual."

Nick, I dream about living in the uinverse in which spiritual is free from the businesslike... unfortunately it seems that in the context of the business, the balance may be not quite there as contrasted with the personal or private in which you are getting spiritual for yourself and not to get another Dollar from somebody else... but maybe I am just biased by having met too many too corrupted people on may way who made lots of money by using religion or adding spiritual flavours to 'personality enhancement, etc."

    Pavan

I do not want to be just negative, what about:

Strategic Mind, Soul in Action, Brainy Soul, Mindful Heart, etc....

    Best regards

Thing is, 'business' and 'spiritual' are labels that get added by the conscious mind to stuff that happens. To separate them out is to raise one above the other, and that way lies faulty perceptions -- and consequent actions.

As for Strategic Soul as a name: yeah, works for me. Hope it does for others too.

I was looking it it the other way round. I wanted to bring spiritual into business.

As Adrian says, these are labels. I think of spiritual as inner wisdom rather than "god".

A lot of people seem to divorce their working lives from their inner wisdom, this seems to me to be a shame as it means they have less fun, only use part of themselves, and are less successful than they might otherwise be.
Work/life balance or life/work balance, it is still a balance. This is why I call my site "your inner consultant", it's a similar idea, it is about using your inner wisdom in all parts of your life.

I feel that whenever we try and separate the different parts of our personality we lead poorer lives. So I think I agree with you, we are just looking at the mirror from different sides.

    Nick

This has hit the nail on the head completely anyone who has experienced spiritual elightenment by what ever path knows the feeling of connectedness and oneness where labels like "business" and "spiritual" just drop away.

Strategic Soul would be a great name for a band as well.

I like the way the name makes you take a second and look or take a second look.

That pause could just be the trick to catch somebody's attention, which gives you a nice chance to get the next suggestion in.

That next suggestion might be very important to get write...

Re: "Strategic Soul" - Opinions Please

Guys, another sun felt day :O)

Its great feedback from you All, many many thanks.

The idea, 'Strategic Soul' was born from my own life journey. What I realised at a very early age, was that it is great to have dreams, it is great to have hope and above all have faith in YOURSELF that these dreams will one day come true. This for me is the very essence of a human SOUL. What was required for these dreams to come true and become the living reality that I so wished for?, and what exactly was I going to do to take these steps? I designed a Strategy, a dream Strategy, a connection of my heart and mind, creating this unstoppable force. There was no way that these dreams would never come true, now that I had this Strategic Soul.

I understand from Chris and I agree that the name could sound a bit mechanical and from Jurek that the word Strategic could also mean you are entering into the business world, when you may want to be free from it all. Nick you also suggested that the name is a nice balance between businesslike and spiritual, which is great but that was not my intent. It is about the connection of the mind and the heart, the connection and combination, a mixture of a strategy and your soul, whatever your dream is, whether it is to lead a spiritual life in the mountains or to run a marathon, there needs to be a soulful purpose, an aim, and if you like a strategy to guide it, this dream of yours into the real world, giving you the life of your dreams..

Carol, yes I totally agree with your comment about getting a message across just as they pause to think, but what is it that will connect to the minds eye? What is my overall suggestion?

    Strategic Soul - Life Coaching

A Different View - Transform Your Dreams into Life
Living the Life of Your Dreams
A Different View - Seeing the World Another Way.
What's Your Dream Strategy to Life? (a question may go get them thinking...........)

You could curl up with a drink and a thesaurus. I don't think they bite.
