"A Thought Moves Faster Than Feelings."

"People say dont worry or dont think about a problem"

"I wont think about it," we may say about any problem but then are we not thinking in the mind on it.

We feel focussed , when we think about anything in a relaxed manner. maybe with the help of some meditation or relaxation audio-tapes.

Dr.Milton H. Erickson once said,"Think a thousand things, thats what you've already done. Now relax and go back to that good event or thing which you thought was nice , good-news to you." [ Here, Erickson has put us in the feel mode, isn't it ? ]

Playing of Circus music , loudly in your mind-tape makes the dissappointing feelings to a big-deal problem just dissappear. They may also become slightly humorous. The Movie-exercise also does the same.

I want to know from your personal experiences whatever Thoughts that were bid-deal problems and disappointed you, Then your Brain used NLP affirmations and you learnt to change "THE MAP or TERRITORY"

Modelling on someone's map, and making it another's territory is what has been done by all. School children model themselves on the classroom lectures of their favorite teacher. So do the College graduates, whence they hear the Lectures quite monotonously.

Einstein, saw moving into the minds eye and then designed that famed Theory of Relativity.

Gandhi chose to discover, the principle of "Non-Violence" or "Ah-imsa"

Both were interacting with their best-self. Their thought postures, tone of voice, facial expressions and relative vastness of their personal experiences. Looking back at them , matching their thoughts into your own.

Such cross-comparisons, through the eyes of the other person. Re-experiencing the situations fully, is great. Go ahead.

More likely, Feelings are faster than words but they're longer lasting... Like waves... While thoughts come in bursts, more digital like.

Thoughts may be faster than feelings and please consider: speed
isn't everything. Thoughts are often not as impactful.

Logic fails in the face of that feeling of certainty imbedded within
belief. If you follow many thoughts down to their source you often
    find feelings.

Thinking is the surface structure that cannot do much to alter the
deep structure governed by emotions, motives, and addictive compulsions.

In my experience mindsets are run by feeling sets. Logic and
rational thinking are newcomers to human psyche. The emotional
brain and the reptilian brain rule the majority of people who would
prefer to believe they are in control.

This is why NLP and hypnosis work so well - they bypass the
super-speedy conscious thinker, who is often wrong about what is actually happening.
