I Need a Catchphrase
hey all
I'm running a course on saturday on happiness and confidence and filming and audio recording it to make a product...
I have this idea that more therapists should have catchphrases and I'd like to come up with one to sign off my products, videos, mailings with... but it's a bit late at night and I haven't come up with anything good....
Anyone got any neat ideas I could pilfer in return for the ability to tell your friends when I'm world famous that the great Viv Craske sole your catchphrase... (i'm joking here) .... (or am I?)....
Thanks
Viv

When you put it like that...
No.
-
What is different about the way you do things?
Answer in less than 100 words.
-
hmmm different....
well I wear a lot of coloured skinny jeans... i have a bit of red in my hair... I like being colourful... hmmm... I'm playful and cheeky when I'm on stage... blimey this is hard.... different to what/whom?
I don't yet have the clientele to reflect it, but my aim is to talk to a young crowd of people in their late teens, 20s, 30s perhaps who are at that place where they can make their life lacking in choices and monotonous or upgrade themselves to get what they want from life...
I studied biochemistry at school and was a music journalist for 10 years, so I like hanging around logical arguments and creative fun people... I guess my intention is to deliver both simple logic and fun and creativity to problem solving in the world of self-help...
-
Ok
Now reduce that to 10 words and you have your catchphrase
"Helping to make your life more colourful."
"For a brighter future" sure someone already has that.
"Life doesn't have to be grey"
"Turn up the contrast and the colour today."

Ah interesting... like your thinking....
There's some interesting ideas there.... some seem more like a slogan than a catchphrase, though dont ask me to define the difference....
Will ponder... thanks Nick....

Use combinations of nominalisations.
It doesn't matter what you use since like all catchphrases they don't mean anything anyway.
Happiness is the mother of Confidence
Distraction is the mother of Fear
...
Well, you get the idea which Jonathan Altfeld came up with.
John
A preposition is something you never end a sentence with

Frank Zappa and the mother's of invention.

Thanks John - ahhh, lovely nominalisations.... I love nominalisationing
I'm moving towards an umbrella brand called The New Reality, so I'd like something around that theme....
Maybe...
Reality is an illusion. Use your illusions
Reality is an dream. Happy dreams
Your thoughts? I don't want to sound like I'm signing off a cheesy TV gameshow...
