I think you need to go back a re learn your NLP.

A question: How much are you helping the poor in this world?

How do you know that EFT does not work?

I am doing the marathon to help people in need and if you follow my links you will see that EFT is just part of this. The marathon is just for EFT people to get together and share. I don't think you do much of that.

I believe Andrew Austin has a very reasonable concern

Its accurate to say that the sort of agencies that help the poor can range from the highly religious to the highly empirical (medicine).

And its accurate to say that giving your attention to people might reduce their suffering - a bit.

But its also accurate to say that claiming to cure malaria, treat trauma, overcome anxiety, and so on is a highly misleading claim. The people who spend good money on helping the poor could really do without such misdirection.

As an EFT proponent, you are under the burden of proof to give reliable proof of efficacy. The charity oriented public require reviews of controlled studies, not demands that the public prove it.

I know NLP proponents are guilty of similar things in principle, not the least because they have no reliable proof of efficacy either, but the extent you are pushing this is extreme to say the least.

I am working through a brainstorming session on another thread using a reversal technique (De Bono). The question is how do we make NLP more pseudoscientific.

One such suggestion would be to go to Africa and claim to cure maleria, to mix NLP with EFT, and so on.

Moving on from that, I think its pretty easy to work out how to make NLP less pseudoscientific.

You would do well to take note.

For get the science.They thought the Wright Bros were mad.Edison was wasting his time.Christ they even thought the wold was flat.If it wasn't for the smart thinkers we'd still be wondering how the wheel worked. We don't ned to know, although it may help the scientist and while they knock it. I can understand those that knock it after all they have spent years learning in old world terms.As they try to get their heads round it people all over the World are getting EFT. Just because something doesn't sit well with you doesn't mean it shite. I have been rounfd the block with alternative theapies and the one that comes up trumphs all the time is EFT.My use of EFT for issues surpasses any other modality. And I will put my money were my mouth is.
