Most people who are genuinely interested in developing themselves and others cannot afford to train with multiple trainers, either because of the cost of the course or even the time off work. I thought I'd try it out and see what happens. I usually offer early bird discounts and thought maybe Ebay might be a way for people to get a bargain.

for those with a sense of humour - I got told off by Derren Brown for using his name in the adverts on Ebay. The line being:

This philosphy grew from a 5 year intensive immersion into the world of NLP, often excactly what NLP is seems misunderstood even by some NLP Practitioners. Often people have remarked that it seems a bit weird, or it's all that Derren Brown stuff innit?

Since you are trying new ways it might be interesting to have one place with an very low starting bid. This seems to be a great way to get things started and can result in very good sale prices.

I'm not saying this as a potential customer, but I always start my ebay stuff at a pound, even things that eventually go for a couple of hundred.

Go for a longer period Andy if you have a low start price as it will give people a chance to learn about it and for you to publicise it.

Hi Andy I love the ebay thing.......as Nick said I also always start items I sell on ebay off at a low amount 99p you get a lot of people watching your item and I always seem to get a good price that way......I think people start to imagine themselves winning the item your selling and get caught up in the excitement of the auction. It's bit like when your trying to buy a house and you try not to fall in love with any because with house buying any number of things can stop a sale from going though.......


Also I'm really glad to see Sharon Sulivan is a guest trainer, she assited on the practioner course I took, she is a great person and very generious with her knowledge
