Re: A deep trance weekend with Michael Perez

Hi All,

First of all, thanks for all of the kind words. Everyone that was there helped to make the atmosphere absolutely wonderful. I've never seen a group so hesitant to leave an event...

And although this is that last time that I'll be using this particular structure for an event like this, there are other, different weekends and other chances for trances coming very soon now, I promise!

I've been working on and testing a whole new structure in the last few months and I expect that you'll all be hearing about that in the weeks to come!

In the meanwhile, for those of you who were with me just a little while ago now, how are things already even better for you now? And how much better is tomorrow already?

Be Well,

Michael Perez

Argh, I have total amnesia from the bit where I was a teenager! Don't make me go back in there to find out!

That's OK, Andy, you only know or need to know just enough for you to become happier and happier the more you begin to realize that your past is behind you, pushing you forward with all you've learned and are learning now, you're in this wonderful moment being and the future is what you're creating big and bright and wonderful, just ahead of you now! And you're getting better and better at making that future more and more wonderful, haven't you...

Be Well,

Michael Perez

...because it just seems to happen out of consciousness and then you just notice yourself beginning to feel beven better than that now that you're smiling someone else's smile and adding it to your own smile now, didn't you...?

Michael Perez

Anyone wanna share their experience with OBE experience and the application of the Robert Anton Wilson stuff while still respecting Michael's intellectual property?

Also maybe tell us about the beanbags...

I think it'd be like trying to describe a rainbow to a blind guy, Sam. It's something to experience rather than describe and talk about.

I can say it wasn't like any other trance I've ever experienced!

Hopefully Michael will release some extracts on CD soon, so then you can experience it for yourself.

I was writing this while Chris posted - and he puts it very well - but here are my thoughts......

Yes I'd like to share but I am not sure quite how because for example during 'the Robert Anton Wilson stuff' I can tell you that at one point my body turned into a fast flowing river (hyper-real). At another stage I seemed to be at home lying on the lawn but I noticed there were way more daisies than normal and I thought that's good I like daisies. I have no real idea what everyone else felt or thought but I do know that I have felt increasingly happy since the weekend, feel very clear and have lots of ideas.

The beanbags were good and I loved the scent of the lilies.

OBE?

Hi Carol,

Thanks for the lovely imagery!

And remember what it was like to project your sense of self outwards? And what it was like to project that into someone else?

That kind of phenomena is referred to as an out-of-body experience or OBE for short.

And I quite like daisies myself!

Be Well,

Michael Perez

As long as you're not trying to get our of your body and inside somebody elses, that's a different type of experience!

Actually, seriously, by projecting your sense of self into someone else, do you mean staying in 1st position?

Hi Sam,

Yes, staying in 1st position. It's essentially a 1st position experience of 2nd position or an OBE transitioning into a DTI. Only not.

Michael Perez

Thank you.

Yes I remember clearly it was very amazing and lovely. First (for me) it was interesting to find my 'sense of self' and find that it was tangible and I could move it. Then when we worked together, it became something else (the opposite of lonely?) and this new shared form was tangible and quickly multiplied and increased in size and vigour.

OBE! Now that makes sense. I love this forum I see now that here an OBE is an out-of-body experience rather than a civil honor LOL!

The lawn daisy hallucination was particularly interesting to me as I now realise that over the years daisies have played important symbolic roles in my art (imagery). Now I see this chain........
