| Clean and Crafty Meetings 9:30 - 17:00 £150 (£125 for NLP Connections members) Avenue House N London This session will explore interpersonal dynamics, with a particular focus on working with, facilitating or chairing groups of any size! Participants will learn how to ensure that every person is involved and can contribute; how to deal with ‘Doberman delegates’; how to respond to ‘Kill the Leader’ syndrome; and how to reduce (probably not eliminate completely, sadly) waffle, sabotage, petty squabbles, major tantrums and power-plays. we will also explore: First Things First: Guiding principles for setting the scene Second Position: Understanding other people’s perspectives Third Degree:Gathering High Value Information Fourth Amendments: When silence is worth it’s weight in wisdom Fifth Columnists: Countering the Great Excuses for Closed Minds Sixth Sense: Developing intuition, sensory acuity and playfulness All of which encourages people to prepare for the meeting, turn up on time, participate throughout and, at the end, feel good about everybody’s input. Who will benefit?Life-coaches, counsellors, trainers, teachers, mediators, sales people, anyone who has to chair meetings, facilitate groups, or get together with one or more persons for any discussion that requires sharing, input, involvement and participation. The workshop also works well for groups of people e.g. a team or focus group, that does not flow as smoothly as particiapnts might wish. Be warned, though, ideas and techniques suggested on this workshop break patterns that most people are familiar with, so expect to be surprised. www.mmallows.co.uk |
