We know that a simple apostrophe “’ ” can make the difference between tragedy and joy, so where else can we make small changes in our language to have huge effects on our selves, our goals and success, and on others and their aspirations and goals? Whilst Woody Allen’s famous quote is “80% of success is showing up” what about the other 20%, where do you show up, what about how you show up? And what you do when you get there? (Remember the Snoopy cartoon where Linus is sure that when his “boat comes in” he will probably be at the airport?)

What you mean by success will be personal to you and me and yet we all need to influence others to achieve it, so the way we are, and the story or stories we tell can affect the responses we get, hardly surprising when, on reflection, they affect how we feel about our own story. Is this another example of The Hermetic Principle?

This evening I will show up with a Glossary of NLP, (over 60 items), 16+ years of applying them to myself and others, 15 years of Business NLP Practice Group, snippets of my other studies and maybe one or two anecdotes from my story so far, if you insist. However, this is an opportunity for you to show up, play with your work, and / or business and / or success and / or your story. You will practice your choice of topic in a safe environment.

There will be ample opportunity for structured networking as you practice your skills in real time. You’re sure to discover interesting information about both your fellow alumni – and yourself!
