Most enlightening! I too rely on fluffy kittens for getting through those interminable and dull conversations men will insist on conducting on subjects like politics and world affairs.

Okay, sometimes it's bunnies.

World affairs and politics are all smoke and mirrors anyway at least the kittens and bunnies are real.

Now I think Bridget illustrates the point quite nicely here.

As you can see, although it would have been pointed out to her on many occasions when she was a child, she now has trouble telling the difference between bunnies and kittens.

What happens is that they are both small and fluffy which creates an emotional state in a woman such that any more data such as size, shape or type of creature, is deleted.

It's the same thing with buying a car, once the colour has been chosen all models then look the same and any further, potentially very important distinctions are lost.

I am not being judgemental here and saying this is wrong, it's just the way women are and why men love them for it.

I live for being considered lovable by you lot, hence my zeal for small furry things (bunnies and kittens... or is that kittens and bunnies..., Oh, now I'm all confused!). And I'm more than secretly glad I don't have to worry my little head with all that smoke and mirrors business. I'm off to embroider a kitten. If you hear feline shrieks of alarm, I trust you'll ignore them. Ta ra!
