Hi all,

I had an interesting discussion with someone yesterday regarding the issue of life changing events. The individual is going on a special holiday with a purpose to learn something new regarding and apparently to check out the culture with a strong view that he will experience a life changing event. Now to me a 'life changing event' is something regarded as 'special' and 'unusual' so therefore opens up ones 'map'. I hold the view you cannot engineer a life changing event or go into what many may well consider a life changing event expecting to get a life changing event actualise into an expanded/altered map.

Any thoughts?
