    Gay Guys

Are there any other gay guys here? I am looking for friends to practice with.

    Re: Gay Guys

So I guess that makes you a practising homosexual then?

At the risk of opening a can of worms, why do you need Gays to practice with?

    Re: Gay Guys

I have always found location and interests to be more important than sexuality when choosing practise partners, but if I lived in London perhaps there would be a larger NLP pool to dip in.

    Re: Gay Guys

... and better it was me, right?

It's interesting that some people thumbed down Adam's post and I'd be interested to hear their reasons for doing that.

From my perspective, I prefer practicing with the brightest and most varied bunch of people I can find... but part of the joy of life is that we're all different, and I don't see any problem with what Adam's asking for.

But isn't that the issue, that he will miss the experience of working with heterosexuals and all the variety that group brings to the pot?

If you don’t want anyone to know what you have done then don’t do it

Interesting. Don't we all miss something because there are some demographics/ethnologies/self-defined groupings that we don't interact with?

Both in Practice and in Life.

Or are they the same thing.

One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is such a nice change from being young

    Depends what you practice.

(This forum has an absurd habit of going meta on everything. Adam wants to meet some friends. All this discussion feels a bit superfluous to me.)

and there was me thinking that superfluous discussion was the major selling point of internet messageboards.

    Re: Gay Guys

That might be true for regulars. For people who dip in occasionally to get some information, I think we probably seem a bit barmy.

But then, we probably are a bit barmy.

I think that's the primary reason I continue to hang around here.

    Re: Gay Guys

I have many gay friends. There aren't many gay men into NLP compared to other alternative/new age fields. Take your pick of reasons why but I supect it's to do with attitudes at the top. A LGBT group within NLP might help?

    Re: Gay Guys

I know plenty of gay NLPers, and can find no evidence of 'attitudes at the top'.

    Re: Gay Guys

It's a simple enough request guys, I wasn't starting a debate. Apart from the one person who pm'ed me, is anyone interested in answering the question?
