Hi All

I am new to this forum and to NLP, and would like some advice on where to begin!

I'm a bit of a Derren Brown fan and first heard of NLP in his book. I find language studies really interesting and think I would enjoy that aspect of NLP.

I work in sales (call centre) and I certainly don't want to trick customers, but I would like to learn techniques that could improve my sales! I suspect I'm already doing some anyway, such as mirroring their way of speaking if I can and trying to build rapport with them.

Anyway, can anybody recommend a book or 2 to get me going?
I would prefer to read rather than sign up to an internet course (at this stage) and I live in a somewhat remote part of the UK so I doubt there's much going on round here!
