Down time induction tips

Hi All,

Sorry for being out of the circuit for a while but life has been a bit busy recently. Judging from the website you have all been well and highly active!

I have been working with some wonderful subjects recently and learned how to perform alot of up time trance work and had some real successes but I have been finding it a little more difficultt to induce deeper trances where the client closes their eyes (I would wish to do this where the subject feels that this is what would "solve" their issues i.e. by being hypnotised it will give their subconcious and excuse to develop the habits that they want).

I have also been reading up on rapid trance inductions and even seen a couple performed by the great Jonathan Altfeld himself however the techniques always are applied very close to the subject and quickly said so I missed alot of what went on (sorry Jonathan!)

So I guess my question really is are there any tips out there for general inductions in how to get people quickly into down time trance states and in particular what happens in the rapid induction that is different e.g. word use / body proximity / eye contact / direct or indirect etc.

I know that the rule is to go there yourself and while I can easily achieve uptime trance states I have trouble understanding how a down time trance state can be performed first without falling out of the trance induction ( I know I must be missing something simple).

Thanks in advance for your helpful suggestions.

Regards,

David
