I can heartily endorse the conference as a place to meet other NLPers, practice, hear from leaders in the field etc and generally get an overview.

I'm not on a percentage and I'm not on the bill this year. I just want to avoid one of those 'why didn't you tell us before?' conversations nearer the date :-)
