Hey everyone.

Im interested in learning about the different ways in which you have all been able to recognise the differences between other peoples most highly valued reprisentational system, and that persons lead system.

For those who arn't familiar with reprisentational systems and lead systems, see Patterns vol2.

For the sake of simplicity i'll use the R Operator to denote Rep system and the L Operator to denote Lead system as used by Bandler/Grinder.

I noticed when working with my current client, that her verbal predicates and scope of experience, leaned more towards a kinesthetic R system
and her eye scanning patterns leaned towards a visual L system.

As an example, she told me the following when speaking about her intuitions:

''I dont know how i know, i just get the feeling that such a person, is going to need my help, and i can feel whats bothering them, almost like its my own emotion. Then they just turn up at my house, even when ive not seen them for 15 years, and they do need my help, and there supprised i know''.

Whilst saying this, her eye scanning patterns were sometimes up and left (Vr) and sometimes up and right (Vc).

So in terms of the 4-tuple that gives us:

R<V,At,K,O> --> Ki

L<V,At,K,O> --> Vi

When we discussed the visual aspect of her experience, she was shocked to understand that she does make images of the things she feels, and it was quite easy to induce deep trance with her, when utilising her lead system.

Im interested in your experiences of spotting peoples lead system, and how you've used them, either on there own, or when overlapping rep systems, etc.

I look forward to some interesting posts.

Kind Regards

Jamie Dixon
