I thought it would be interesting to ask what views/experiences people have on what they consider misuse of NLP & Hypnosis. For example I admit to not being a fan of stage hypnosis although I have great respect for Paul McKenna. I am also highly dubious of the speed seduction enthusiasts from what I have witnessed in seminars and on newsgroups, which again is a personal view. As Tina mentioned the media has had a field day with some of what they consider to be controversial elements of hypnosis and unfortunately some folks are mostly interested in sensationalism and tricks above all else!
The recent McKenna and Derren shows have been great in getting NLP and hypnosis into the public arena, but when people see an edited programme, they often believe that everything can be a quick fix and don't appreciate the bigger picture.
